We are in an emergence. ...See?

What will you remember fondly or proudly from 2014? What story will you tell and build on? I trust it will be one of discovery - seeing yourself, those with whom you share your days, and the path you are traveling with new eyes.

What's important to you now?

As you reflect on what happened and who you have been becoming in the ebb and flow of things, I hope you feel heartened and shine the light of appreciation on what you see.

What you appreciate, appreciates.

If there was a soundtrack for 2014, it could well have included a version of "Happy". What will bring you more alive, happy, and whole as we begin 2015? If you want more "happy" for 2015, take note.

According to experts, the equation for "happiness" is:

Your Brain's Set Point (40%-50%) +
Conditions of Living (7%-12%) +
Voluntary Choices (40%-50%) = HAPPINESS

Notice that somewhere around 90% of what generates happiness is sourced and changed from within. It's the story you tell and reinforce. It's the actions you take by choice.

Happy for Renewal

I'm ready for powerfully positive renewal in 2015. Are you?

Renewal is more than a happy wish. As Carl Jung wrote in 1938, "We do not solve our problems, we outgrow them." Renewal is a deepening into the true self and an opening with new capacity to see and act. It's how we are being creative with both light and dark, growing toward a next set of challenges and opportunities with a resourceful, present and connected orientation. It's a commitment to the emergence of what is new and life-affirming for you now.

We are in an emergence. See?

It can help to remember that authentic human power resides in the act of inner seeing. Whether you're going for "happy" or something else, inner seeing appears in large part through letting go. Letting go of what gets in your way. Finding your way - yet again - to self-observation, trust and renewed choice.
