You are invited to participate in PRAXIS. The word "praxis" means translating ideas into action. The purpose of this mini-series is to give you an opportunity to continue and expand upon the inquiry you have begun with individual coaching. In this focused, small-group coaching forum, you benefit from the questions, experiences, insights and interaction with like-spirited leaders. The first group to experience PRAXIS began in Autumn 2005; their experience was so positive they opted for a second round, ending in March 2006.
The structure for PRAXIS is a series of three intimate evening meetings. As we begin the PRAXIS journey together, our literature focus will be Lisa Marshall's recent book: Speak the Truth and Point to Hope: The Leader's Journey to Maturity. Lisa's groundbreaking book focuses our attention on your evolving leadership story. You will engage in
- dialogue about issues raised in the book that are relevant to challenges and opportunities you and other participants are facing, and
- interactive somatic exercises related to those questions and concerns.
For the sake of rich, focused and mutually supportive interaction, this invitation is limited to a select group. I am extending this invitation to current and former clients (coaching and seminar)...and to the individuals they wish to recommend and invite to join in. There is something quite exquisite about continuing your learning within a community of practice. You share vocabulary, an understanding of distinctions and the felt experience of practices that allow you to lead more consistently from a zone of excellence. Together we will build on the shared commitment to develop your SELF as a masterful leader.
Choose to be part of this lively and enlivening PRAXIS community. Imagine what you might gain by bringing your curiosity and whole-person intelligence to a learning forum with like-spirited colleagues! Participation in PRAXIS will enhance and augment your leadership scope by opening the conversation to a larger field of experience, relationships, and commitments. It's another way of saying "YES" to yourself and the future you are creating. |
