What distinguishes a leader you WANT to work with
from one you HAVE to work with?
Notice how trust is evident in your business interactions: in communication, negotiation to structure agreements, strategic planning, decision-making, conflict resolution, compensation and reward systems, customer care, branding, etc. When it comes to leadership and collaboration, there are different types and qualities of trust around which we orient, but everything we do in relationship with people either builds or breaks down trust.
In order to accomplish strategic goals, today's business leaders are often faced with the task of rebuilding trust in organizations without the support, tools or understanding necessary to work with the complex dynamics of trust. Not only is competency in building and restoring trust relevant to business success, but woven together with knowledge and power, it is the core of leadership mastery.
